On October 30, 1969, a group of twelve farmers met in the city of Enterprise, Alabama for the purpose of organizing a farmers cooperative to engage in purchasing and handling of farm production supplies normally used by farmers in the production of agricultural products. A group of area farmers meet on December 2, 1969, to discuss financing and purchasing. Coffee County Branch of AFC. Mr. Frank Britt was the first President of the Board. Ther first annual meeting was held on May 2, 1970.
A retail store was completed in front of the warehouse in June 1972. Since that date a garden center and an addition to the retail store have been added.
